Ans. From the College Reception (Tel: 0191-2592952) and Director College Development, University of Jammu (Tel: 0191-2430023).
Q2. From where can I obtain the admission form?
Ans. From the College Common Room.
Q3. What is the mode of payment of fees?
Ans. Fees can be paid in the form of crossed demand draft drawn in favour of KALAMKARI CENTRE SOCIETY, [KCS COLLEGE OF EDUCATION (Women)] A/c 1690 payable at Jammu.
Q4. What is the medium of examination?
Ans. English & Hindi.
Q5. What is the minimum requirement of attendance in the College?
Ans. As per University of Jammu Guidelines, 75% attendance is compulsory to be eligible to appear in the final examination.
Q6.What are the College timings?
Ans. Summer Timing - 8:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M.
Winter Timing - 9:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M.

Ans. Books can be borrowed from the College Library and purchased from market for personal use.

Ans. Yes.

Ans. One Academic year.

Ans. The College has various facilities like Indoor Games, Television, Volleyball, Badminton, etc.

Ans. Use of Mobile phone is prohibited in the College Campus but the student can use the phone in the Hostel.

Ans. It is held during the month of August/September, which is notified by University of Jammu.
Q16. Is the Hostel compulsory for non-locals?
Ans. As the College is a Women's College, so the Management prefers to accommodate students in the hostel.
Q17. Are the Wardens resident or non-resident?
Ans. Resident wardens have been appointed.
Q18. What kind of diet is provided in the hostel?
Ans. Purely vegetarian, nutritious and balanced diet is provided in the hostel.
Q19. Are the hostellers allowed to go for outings?
Ans. Yes, but with the permission of Warden.
Q20. How many outings are allowed in a week?
Ans. Two outings.
Q.21 What are the visiting hours in the hostel?
Ans .4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. daily.
Q22. Are the visitors and guests allowed to stay overnight in the hostel?
Ans. No.

Ans. Yes, the Hostel facilities for 87 students are available with in the College Campus.
Q24. Is there any place for Hostel students to take meals?
Ans. Dining Hall for 100 students is available in the In-Campus Hostel.

Ans. Night armed Security Guards & Day Security Guards are posted round the clock in the College. |
