Q1. What is the Location of the Campus of the College ?
Ans. The KCS College of Education (Women) is located at a distance of 8 Kms from the University of Jammu, 10 Kms from Railway Station & 5 Kms from Jammu Bus Stand.
Q2. Has the College been accredited by any agency ?
Ans. Yes, the College has been accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with Grade "A" under their updated string out methodology Post April, 2007 which is the highest grade in J&K State both in Public & Private sectors with CGPA of 3.12 on a four point scale.
Q3. What is the procedure of admission to M.Ed course ?
Ans. The admission to M.Ed course for the College is made by the University of Jammu, as per the eligibility criteria laid down in the Information - Brochure -cum Admission form issued by the University.
Q4. What is the eligibility criteria admission to M.Ed course ?
Ans. A candidate seeking admission to M.Ed Course must have passed her B.Ed examination from University of Jammu or any university recognized by the University of Jammu.
Q5. What is the duration of the course ?
Ans. The duration of the course is one year spread over two semesters
Q6. What is the tution fee for M.Ed Course ?
Ans. The tution fee for the M.Ed Course is notified by the University as present it is Rs. 40,000/- for the complete duration of the course.
Q7. How many candidates are admitted to M.Ed Course in the College ?
Ans. 30 Candidates are admitted to the M.Ed Course out of which 26 are admitted in open merit and 04 in management quota.
Q8. What is the admission requirement in the College ?
Ans. The Candidates selected for this College by the Centralized Admission Committee of the University of Jammu report to the College.
The Registration form is available with the P.G. Department of the College and after dully filing the same the candidates have to enclose the copies of the certificates alongwith five copies of latest passport size photographs.
Q9. Does KCS College have Hostel facility ?
Ans. Yes, we have sufficient hostel accommodation for girls. Girl's students desirous of hostel accommodation are given hostel.
Q10. What is fee structure for Hostel ?
Ans. The Hostel fees is Rs. 22,000/- which has to be paid in 3 installments.
Q11. How Hostel fee should be paid ?
Ans. Hostel fee can be paid through demand Draft drawn in favour of KCS College of Education (Women), Jammu. |
