English & Communication Skills is an important feature of the course as it helps her to deal confidently with her superiors, equals, subordinates. Library correspondence is the important aspect of library management. In most of the institutions the correspondence in taken in English, so the comprehension and expression of this language is very necessary for proper communication with readers, authorities as well as with the documents. The course of English & Correspondence helps the students to acquire the skill. No institution can be organized or administered without understanding and creating an organizeational set up library is no exception to it. Any institutional strength is its library and its managerial staff this diploma course makes the managerial staff of any institution with the computer concepts.

The cataloguing & classification techniques __theory as well as practices makes the diploma more interesting , it helps to bring order in the huge stock of the modern libraries
